COVIRO<\/strong> is an agricultural nursery company, founded in 1978, that directly produces and sells certified plants for the fruit-production field.The main nursery activity is the production of STRAWBERRY PLANTS and ASPARAGUS CROWNS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
COVIRO<\/strong> has been working hard for many years guaranteeing its nursery products (National certification, European certification and CAC) to contribute to the quality improvement of the fruit-farming market. Since 1987, COVIRO has been recognized as an accredited MULTIPLICATION CENTER<\/strong> for the voluntary National Strawberry Certification program, today as Qualit\u00e0 Vivaistica Italia QVI<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Aware of the importance of providing its customers with the best possible health status and the absolute genetic certainty of the nursery material<\/strong>, it has set up fields of strawberry mother plants, with the collaboration and under the strict control of the Phytosanitary Service of the Emilia-Romagna Region. Nursery production is mostly located in Emilia Romagna and, since 2003, new nurseries for fresh strawberry plants have been established in Spain and Poland to satisfy customers\u2019 requirements.<\/p>\n COVIRO<\/strong>, associated with cooperative C.A.V. since 2006, agrees to a plan for the certification of traceability of chain distribution.<\/p>\n COVIRO<\/strong> collaborates with several International and Italian Scientific Institutions and Breeding program companies to identify and dispose of the best varieties on the market.
