New and first male HYBRID purple asparagus. The SPEARS are smooth, of excellent quality with the top perfectly tight, high yield and good uniformity. The colour is intense purple while the flavour is sweet and very tender. Early variety, very vigorous with very strong fronds able to withstand strong winds without breaking.
